BSc and MSc Thesis
Are you considering doing a BSc or MSc thesis with us? Our group has a strong focus on research. Therefore, no matter if you are interested in a BSc or a MSc thesis, you will be required to make an independent, original scientific contribution. For BSc thesis, this can be an incremental finding with a possible publication at a minor conference. For a MSc thesis, to achieve a top-level grade, it needs to be a scientific contribution that advances the current state-of-the-art in that field. A submission to a regular conference is recommended. To allow for a positive outcome, good knowledge of Python, ML, deep learning, and at least one DL framework (e.g., Pytorch) is necessary. We recommend that interested students first complete a research project and/or seminar to get familiar with the respective setting and the scientific workflow. Topics will be assigned based on personal interest, experience, and knowledge.
