As a member of our group, you will have the opportunity to engage in research across a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

• Multimodal Learning: Investigate how to effectively combine and learn from different types of data, such as images, text, and audio.
• Video Understanding: Develop algorithms that can analyze and interpret dynamic video content, enabling applications such as action recognition, video captioning, and event detection.
• Computer Vision: Explore fundamental problems in computer vision, such as object detection, segmentation, and scene understanding.

Qualifications

For PhD Candidates:

• A strong academic background in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• A strong interest in research, usually demonstrated by a first publication at an A or B conference.
• Experience in machine learning, computer vision, or a related area.
• Excellent programming skills in Python.
• Good mathematical foundations in linear algebra, probability, and statistics.

For Postdocs:

• A PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• A proven track record of high-quality research in machine learning, computer vision, or a related area.
• Strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals.
• Experience with mentoring and supervising students.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

As a research assistant, you will have the opportunity to:

- Assist in the development and implementation of algorithms and models for computer vision and multimodal learning tasks.
- Conduct literature reviews and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
- Collect, annotate, and preprocess datasets for training and evaluation.
- Run experiments, analyze results, and document findings.

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in a Master's program in machine learning, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
